Delete your OwlAI account

This page explains how to delete your OwlAI account and its data. You can read it without installing the app.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in to OwlAI (web, desktop app or mobile app) and go to Settings › General › Delete account (in the mobile app, Me › Delete account).
2. Enter your password and email address and confirm the deletion.

If you cannot sign in, send an "Account deletion request" from your registered email address to support-owlai@tibero.com. We will verify your identity and process it within 10 days of receiving the request and let you know the result by email.

What happens when you delete your account

• Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. You can no longer sign in right away, and you can sign up again with the same email address.
• An organization you use alone is closed together with your account deletion. If that organization has an AWS Marketplace subscription, it is closed at the end of the current, already paid cycle, and the subscription on the AWS side must be canceled separately in AWS Marketplace.
• If you are the only organization administrator of an organization with other members, you must first designate another member as an organization administrator before you can delete your account.

Data we delete

All of the following is deleted within 30 days.

• Account information (email address, password, two-step verification data, settings)
• Conversations and attachments, and files created in conversations
• Meeting recordings, transcripts and minutes
• Saved memories, personal connection details and notification device information
• Marketing consent records

Data that remains

• Material shared with an organization (organization playbooks, organization documents, etc.) belongs to the organization and remains. The author label is removed.
• Records kept as required by law: contract and payment records for 5 years and consumer complaint and dispute records for 3 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce), and service access records for 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act). They are deleted when the period ends.
• Security audit records: access and administration records such as sign-ins and permission changes are kept for 3 years for security auditing and then deleted.
• Usage statistics: items that identify you are removed, and only statistics remain.
• Backups: copies remaining in disaster-recovery backups are deleted within 30 days at most.
